Visit this siteto test your positivity ratio. You will need to set up an account for yourself on the page before you take the positivity self-test. Make a note of what your ratio is and go back to this test again once you have started to incorporate some daily practices to increase your ratio.
Move back to your workbook now for a focused writing exercise on what observations you have had from doing a daily gratitude practice. Haven’t started this practice yet? Today is a great day to start!

More on Mindfulness
Watch this Tedx Talk "The Happy Secret To Better Work" with Shawn Achor, which recaps and adds to many of the concepts and practices we have discussed to date in this course, including:
How organizational management has been based on negative theory (meaning the focus has been on managing to the middle versus getting to excellence).
90% of our long-term happiness is predicted by the way we process the world.
Many wellness programs are really illness programs.
When we raise positivity, through gratitude, meditation, mindfulness and other practices, our brains perform better.
In your workbook, jot down any ideas that come to mind from this Tedx Talk.
Watch this final video and then remember to review your Through-Line Plan.
What will be your first three turns for this coming week?
Read the full article discussed in the video above called, "Mindfulness Can Help Unlock Your Company’s Collective Intelligence"
Consider bringing in someone trained in teaching mindfulness and/or meditation to start an ongoing initiative that employees can participate in. This could be done in person or online.
Focused writing on what you are observing in your gratitude practice
Leadership practices to increase positivity in meetings
Mindful listening in teams
Teaching mindfulness and/or meditation throughout your organization
Work with these practices for at least a week and then read Chapter 7: Teams before moving onto Module 7.
